The pop world's been buzzing with Boyzone rumours this fortnight. For a start it was claimed that Ronan had gotten engaged to Vernie - a tale hotly denied by both parties. Then we heard that Ronan was about to launch a solo career after secret talks with his record company. "One hundred per cent untrue!" stormed Louis Walsh, the 'Zone's manager. "These stories are just totally made up."
Later, it was reported that Boyzone might be facing a break-up of a more terminal nature when their plane crash-landed in the Australian outback after an engine failed. "We're lucky to be alive," shivered Mikey. "If you're meant to go, you're meant to go - butI'm glad I didn't go then." But, apart from the shock the lads are OK. "We had a good laugh about it all," Swaggered Mikey. Thank pop for that!
