HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE STEPHEN TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NEVER MET HIM ?
Mike: Quiet, deep and sensitive.
Ronan: Shy, sensitive, friendly and the cute one.
Keith: Small, cute and very friendly, quite insecure and very private...
Shane: He's a very very sound bloke, very nice. Just be careful you don't upset him...

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS STEPHEN'S MOST SPECIAL CONTRIBUTION TO BOYZONE ?
Mike: Everybody has their own kind of image - and with him I guess it's being the cute little thing that the girls go crazy about... He's a very gentle kind of person.
Ronan: His personality, his voice, everything is special about him - there's something special about all the boys.
Keith: His friendship, his lovely smile, his good voice and his dancing skills!
Shane: His charm and his high pitched voice.

CAN YOU REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME YOU MET HIM AND WHAT WERE YOUR FIRST IMPRESSIONS ?
Mike: First time I met him was at the auditions in Dublin and he was very enthusiastic.
Ronan: I knew him before the band, we were good mates already - we clicked the first time we met. I was about 16 I think, we've always been good mates.
Keith: I actually can't remember the first time I met him to be honest with you - but I've always had a good impression of him, I don't ever remember thinking anything bad about him, I always thought he was a cool bloke.
Shane: I've known him from years ago when he was disco dancing - I was about 14 when we first met.

IS THE STEPHEN OF BACK THEN MUCH DIFFERENT TO THE STEPHEN OF TODAY ?
Mike: In some ways, yeah. He's had to adjust his personality to account for the band and it's lifestyle - he's evolved with our career.
Ronan: Yeah definitely. He's a lot wiser now - he's older, more mature...
Shane: Not really no, not at all.

IF YOU CAN'T FIND HIM WHERE'S THE FIRST PLACE YOU'D LOOK FOR HIM ?
Mike: In the corner on the phone usually.
Ronan: At home !
Keith: I haven't got a clue. I can never find him and I never know where to look for him.
Shane: His bedroom, on the telephone somewhere.

WHAT'S HIS MOST ANNOYING HABIT ?
Mike: Farting!
Ronan: Sometimes he's too sensitive for his own good, he gets upset about things he shouldn't. He's always been that way.
Keith: A bad temper.
Shane: Tapping you on the sholder and getting you to smile when you're in a bad mood...

WHAT'S YOUR FUNNIEST STEPHEN MOMENT ?
Mike: There's been a few moments... He's very good at doing impressions of people.
Ronan: Meself and Steeo always have a laugh, we're always laughing. We can laugh about anything, meself and Steeo.
Keith: Me and him have a load of them. When we're in the Far East we can never sleep so we always stay up the whole night together - the last time we were there we ended up doing swimming at 4 o'clock in the morning.
Shane: Me and Steeo always have funny moments - his laugh makes me laugh a lot actually.

IF HE WAS COMING OVER FOR DINNER WHAT WOULD YOU COOK FOR HIM ?
Mike: Something spicy. He likes spicy foods.
Ronan: Oh God knows. He likes pasta, Italian food - which is helpful because so do I...
Keith: Well he likes curry and he likes Lasagne, so something like that.
Shane: Something very plain and simple - burger and chips or something. He's not very adventurous with food really.

WHAT DOES HE WORRY ABOUT THE MOST ?
Mike: What people think of him.
Ronan: He worries about our success I suppose.
Keith: People not liking him.
Shane: I don't know - he worries about people knowing his business I think, his secrets.

IS THERE A FAMOUS PERSON YOU COULD COMPARE HIM TO ?
Mike: I don't know. He's Stephen Gately.
Ronan: No, Stephen's out on his own, he's happy being himself.
Keith: I suppose Mark Owen because he's little and cute.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN HE'S IN A BAD MOOD ?
Mike: He goes quiet and he gets a bit snappy.
Ronan: He goes off, and goes really quiet. You just have to give him his time and he comes out of it in the end.
Keith: Oh you know, believe me! I always make him worse, I'm like a bull in a china shop...
Shane: He pinches your leg when you slag him off! That's just what he's doing at the moment..

WHERE WOULD YOU TAKE HIM FOR A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE ?
Mike: Disneyland I think.
Ronan: He likes the countryside, so i'd probably take him out there for the day.
Keith: Disneyland...
Shane: Yeah, Disneyland.

IF HE WASN'T IN BOYZONE, WHAT OTHER CAREER DO YOU THINK HE'D MAKE A SUCCESS OF ?
Mike: Working in a theatre, acting.
Ronan: I think he'd make a good actor, he's very creative.
Keith: He'd probably be an actor or something.
Shane: He could be anything he wanted!
